This realization has sparked me to rethink how I want to share mindful practices with you, because mid-life changes are not just about the careers we build, but also about navigating the personal and significant transformations that come with this stage of life. Our next chapter together will be about navigating all mid-life challenges and embracing these changes with grace and open heart and, of course, with mindfulness. Hello and welcome back, or, if you're tuning in for the first time, I'm excited to have you here. And what perfect timing, because I have a big announcement this podcast will now be known as Mindful Life Changes. I'm Valerie Mechie, your host, a career change guide and mindfulness enthusiast. You might know us as the Mindful Career Change Podcast. That's where our journey began and it's been pretty amazing. But here's the thing While diving deep into mindfulness during my career change, I discovered that its quote-unquote magic isn't just for the nine to five part of our lives. It's about the whole picture, the full journey. So although my last career change was deeply rooted in mindfulness, I recognize the positive impact it had not just in navigating a new career, but also in facing life's biggest challenges. That's why we're evolving from the Mindful Career Change Podcast to Mindful Life Changes, embracing every facet of our lives.

Life changes can happen at any stage or age, but it seems like it all comes to head for those 40 and over. Just like me, you may be navigating through some of life's significant shifts. Your kids might be starting new chapters in their lives, preparing to leave the nest soon, all while you're juggling the needs of aging parents. Perhaps you're experiencing the coming of a certain age where your body and mind has changed, or you're rethinking your career path, aiming for something that truly lights you up inside. Mindful Life Changes is your go-to space for working through those moments with grace. We will still provide calming and thoughtful affirmations, as well as embracing career pivots with a mindfulness approach.

We'll tackle adjusting to an empty nest, the ups and downs of caring for the ones who once cared for us, and the personal journey of navigating life's physical and emotional changes. It's all on the table and we're in this together. Life's full of changes and they say the only constant in life is change itself. Here at Mindful Life Changes, we're embracing that wholeheartedly.
